SAMBHAV (Skill development for Aspiring youths & Motivating them on Business, Hope, And Vision)
SAMBHAV means possible! This is a new project by HDCS that aspires to develop skill, motivation, and provide business acumen so that youth from Chaurjahari may have a hope and vision for a brighter future.
In communities where economic hardship has driven many youths to seek low-paying labor opportunities abroad, SAMBHAV offers an alternative: empowerment through skill-building and entrepreneurship. Through this project, eight selected participants will gain hands-on vocational training, coupled with essential life skills and business development coaching in Kathmandu. From mastering practical skills to learning time management, goal setting, and professional communication, participants graduate with the tools needed to navigate their careers with purpose.
Beyond training, SAMBHAV cultivates resilience and leadership. Safe sharing sessions like Khulla Akash and Stories of Change encourage youth to share their experiences, reflect on challenges, and find inspiration in each other’s journeys. These sessions are designed to spark self-awareness, build confidence, and foster a sense of community among aspiring changemakers.
Ultimately, SAMBHAV is about more than skill development, it’s about creating pathways for youth to return home, contribute meaningfully to their communities, and become agents of change and role models for others. By investing in their growth, we are investing in the future of Chaurjahari, ensuring that hope, opportunity, and transformation remain within reach for all.
