Afno FM in Okhaldunga, for the past 13 years, have been witnesses of God’s love in communities. As part of their 13th anniversary celebrations, they distributed fruit to 70 inpatients at Okhaldunga Hospital. They also provided fruit and surgical masks to 95 prisoners in Okhaldunga Jail. Furthermore, Afno FM raised money to uplift prisoners and provided two gas stoves and two drinking water dispensers to improve the living conditions inside the jail. In return, the prisoners gifted Afno FM two of their handcrafted stools made from plastic threads and recycled rubber from tires. Over these 13 years Afno FM’s goodwill and service has impacted the prisoners. Many of the prisoners have vouched that when they are released they will continue social work in some form.
