Pushpa Surkheti Sarki’s story

Pushpa Surkheti Sarki is a student of Gangamilan Secondary School, Lamjung. She is 11 years old and is studying in grade 5. She is from a Dalit community. She lives in Besishahar-6, Lamjung. Her parents are financially poor. Her father is a daily wage laborer. They cannot even afford to buy the stationery items required for her study. The scholarship covers the cost of her uniform, school bag, shoes and stationery, which has inspired her to regularly attend her school. She is improving her study and taking part in extracurricular activities as well.
Her parents are very grateful to the support they receive for her.
