One Health

The One Health Concept describes the close link, relationship and interaction between human health, animal health and environmental health. The main objective of the project is to create stronger, healthier and resilient communities. We raise awareness in schools, farmers’ groups, and mothers’ groups, helping people see how caring for each sector improves overall well‑being and livelihoods.
Through training, medical camps, and capacity building, communities gain practical skills in sustainable farming, livestock care, WASH and health awareness. The project promotes establishment of “model farms” among community farmers to realize and demonstrate safe and eco‑friendly practices, inspiring other farmers and local groups to replicate them. These initiatives enable the project to build resilience, prevent disease outbreaks, and promoting ownership, creating a replicable model of integrated, community‑driven development for long‑term health and sustainability.
